My thoughts exactly.
I made changes in the past with Devin Hester and Kordell Stewart years ago when he actually did switch to WR for a bit. I don't see Cribbs as being as clear cut at all. Not even close in fact.
Thanks for your comment. The more third party comments I get the better.
Honestly you shouldn't even have done that way back then. Our rules specifically state that a players position at the beginning of the year is what they are. Doesn't matter if they happen to play another position during a game. It would be crazy in today's "wildcat" world to try to change a guys position mid season based on a few snaps. Basically nowadays whatever MFL has the player listed as is what they are and they are that way all season.
Not sure if it helps but here are my rules on player positions:
QUOTE
A player's position will be determined by the Myfantasyleague website. If there is a dispute the Commissioner will have final say and the players team web site and nfl.com will be consulted. Accordingly, if a player's position is potentially in question, an Owner should request a decision from the Commissioner regarding the player's position prior to adding the player to their roster. Example: Kordell Stewart is a QB. He starts a game at WR. You *cannot* start Stewart as a WR because his position is QB, however, if you start Kordell at QB, you will receive whatever points he gets at WR.
Notice our note of Kordell Stewart as an example.

I probably do need to update this to indicate that player positions are basically locked at the start of the season as they are on the MFL site unless MFL does a mid-season update (which they rarely do).
Either way, good luck!
